What kind of environmental products are there for 2020?
I am a conscious environmentalist and I thought I would share some of my favorite products wth you. My Tower Garden, which is amazing to have the ability to grow your own produce that is Non- Gmo. You reduce the carbon footprint of CO2 emissions in the air by using the Tower to table model of not having to transport your food. It is absolutely delicious and fresher than your local farmers market. It even grows right on your own apartment patio, indoor space, or outside.
I love my Surfrider’s utensil kit and straws. I always carry it with me, so I do not use plastic utensils that they give out everywhere now even when I don’t ask for it. I always bring my own or wait until I get home to use my own utensils. My pet peeve is all of the plastic food to go utensils I once accumulated that made me take a closer look at this. Now you don't find it as much, and some green companies have switched to bamboo.
Simple Green is one of my favorite cleaning products of all time. It has been around for a long time. It smells good, and it’s powerful against tough cleaning.
It’s environmentally safe and biodegradable.
When I cook and I have leftovers or when I meal prep, I prepare all of my food in glass containers. I got rid of all of the plastic containers. It keeps food fresher and healthier for you and the whole family.
If you like the individual coffee cups for your coffee maker, you can also purchase that in a reusable filter instead of throwing away that plastic every single day. You just purchase your favorite coffee and refill it yourself.
I work with Heal The Bay, and I love their limited edition K-Swiss sneaker. They are made of recycled material and I love that I am able to support this company with all the amazing things they do for our ocean.
I am a big fan of the bamboo toothbrush! It never crossed my mind how much plastic is made for toothbrushes. This is a great switch to make and easy too!
Australian Gold sunscreen is safe for our coral reef. It is oxybenzone free and it smells great. When it goes on it is very thick and leaves a funny texture on my skin but I do like it and I like it better for the ocean, so I will forgo the weird texture.
Biodegradable plastic dog poo bags are great for the environment and I am happy to use them as I use them more than any product for my pet.
Washable and reusable product bags are so much better for the environment. Think about how many people go to the grocery store and use those plastic bags. These are convenient and easy to wash.
