The actress entrepreneur life!

There is an old joke about being an actress and some jerk says, "oh which restaurant do you work at?"
That's because most actors work in survival type jobs to pay the bills while they have a flexible schedule for auditions.  I did that for way too long than I would have liked.  Don't get me wrong, I was very grateful.  However it was hard on me.  Working every weekend, missing out on fun things, standing on your feet all day, exhausted working all night.  Being surrounded by low energy, low vibration alcohol, drugs and bad behavior.  I was always a fitness fanatic, loved taking care of myself and I never felt like I was in the right place.  Although, it paid my bills generously for years.

I began to seek other opportunities but it was hard to find that flexibility we need.  I came across a business opportunity that fit what I was looking for.  Work from wifi, own my own business, in the health and wellness field.  This was exactly what I had picture in my mind.  So, I bought my own business for $50.00!  Yes, it was that inexpensive.  The average price to purchase a small business is $150,000 to $200,000.  That is not exactly in my budget, so I thought I would purchase what I could afford.

I work.  I work all the time.  I own my own business, and what I put into it is a reflection of my paycheck.  It is not easy.  If it was, everyone would do it.  I saw a vision of my life as an actress, writer and entrepreneur.  I saw a bigger vision, one so big most people can't wrap their minds around it.  I knew that I didn't want to keep working for someone else, in a restaurant anymore.  I was recently let go of my restaurant job because of the pandemic and it's given me time to focus on my business.

Building your own business comes with ups, downs, long days, long nights, inconsistent pay, working multiple jobs in order to grow your own.  You have to cut out time wasters.  Friends and activities.  You have to look at the long road, not the short term satisfaction.  Taking your earnings and investing it into more and allowing it to grow.

As an actress, I look to other actors that I admire and who are my expanders in life.  Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergera, Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, Ryan Reynolds, Ashton Kutcher, Kevin Hart, Ashley Olsen, Jennifer Lopez.  They have all created entrepreneurial businesses for themselves.

I believe every actor on every level can create a small business for themselves just like I did as a Network Marketer.  Actors like Ian Ziering, Jenna Boyd, Tori Spelling who have been building their American dream as network marketers and endorsers like Megan Fox for Avon.  I am grateful to my business leaders who support us like Tony Robbins, Bob Proctor, Sir Richard Branson and many others.  If you can have the vision of yourself performing on the big screen, you can expand that vision to a entrepreneur life and get out of the french fry business.  Unless of course, if you own the french fry business.

I love mentoring actors on how they can become first time business owners.  Don't hesitate to reach out and book a call with me.  You may not have a true understanding of what the business is all about.  Knowledge is key.

Video Gaming $76 billion
Movie Industry $88 billion
Natural Foods Industry $90 billion
Network Marketing $178 billion
from Gordon Attard

"We found that one business model stood out from the rest.  This particular business model creates passive income, but requires relatively little cash investment to start up.  It has very low overhead, and can be operated on a flexible part-time basis until it generates enough cash flow for the entrepreneur to transition out of his current full time job.  That business model is call network marketing." Robert Kiyosaki
