Single Ladies Saturday Night Out! The Cost of Beauty

As a single lady, I always tried to look my best even when I am walking the dog.  Sometimes I am in leggings and a t-shirt, but I will throw on some SPF and face powder so I don't scare off any cute surfers in the morning.  This month I seemed to have spent a fortune on my beauty products, and I still haven't had time to get my hair did!  It made me start to wonder how much are single women spending on their beauty products?  Men, do not spend hardly any money on their upkeep.  I guess that's why so many of them look like serial killers on internet dating websites.  Yikes!  You know exactly what I am saying ladies!



You know that long receipt of discounts you get from CVS?  I mean yes, it's annoying and a waste of paper but, I use those massive discounts because my shampoo and conditioner cost $30 a bottle.  So, I wait for those great reward bucks and percents off so I don't spend a fortune.  Not to mention I use three different conditioners because I have a lion's main of hair.  One conditioner is not enough.  That's only if you have thin, limp hair, and I certainly do not.  I have to condition it in the shower, then the leave in conditioner, then blow dry, and flat iron, and a finishing conditioner.  

My facial products, okay I'm not going to lie, I'm currently getting products for free because I am modeling for a brand and it comes with my progress and results package.  The product line is actually quite affordable, so at least I get that little perk.  If I were paying for it, women use the cleanser, toner, eye cream, skin brightener, day cream, night cream, SPF, makeup, foundation, blush, eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow, lip gloss, the list goes on.  

I could probably have a more expensive apartment if I didn't use so many products.  It's practically a whole other car payment just for the cost of beauty.  So what do we do? I can't help but just vent my frustration. 


I love taking care of my body from the inside out and getting the best nutrition too.  So, I always take my berry capsules and omegas for my internal skincare routine.  Ask me how to order the Vibrance Package!  I think it's all worth every penny to make yourself look and feel your best.  I don't know if there is a solution or not but as I put myself together tonight I just hope that all the effort is worth it and I attract a nice guy who says, wow you have incredible hair and means it.
