Single Ladies Saturday Night Tips!
Since I work at a bar I always see people on their Tinder dates, just meeting for the first time, hooking up unexpectedly at the end of the night. I have first hand knowledge of what to do and not to do. Now that we're in the digital age of everything being electronic, and that's how most people meet these days, I just wanted to give some tips for a fun night out on the town.
For my ladies, just talk to guys, guys you don't know. Don't go out to a bar if you aren't going to socialize, otherwise stay home with your cats. I have seen some pretty amazing guys out at my bar, and some ladies just pass them by and miss out on good opportunities. Just give them a chance, it may take a couple of times to see what they're all about.
Put away your inner mean girl! You know that girl who just wants to be the hottest thing in the room. Boring! Miss, too good for everyone else in the room. Walking around judging everyone. Wondering who do they think they are. We're all just human, looking for some sort of real connection, good conversation and so are you girlfriend. Remember Cameron Diaz in the Sweetest Thing? Dancing by herself at the club to Usher's "You got it bad"! None of us want to be that girl, so put down the walled up fortress and unlock your inner light and positive energy and radiate that instead!
Have a great time, but don't over indulge. On St. Patrick's day I saw a young girl carried out of my local Irish pub. She looked like a rag doll. She had probably been there since 6am, and possibly could have had alcohol poisoning. I have seen girls puke, urinate themselves, forget their shoes, forget their purse, drop their chicken cutlets out of their bras. I mean, seriously is that a fun night out? It's amateur hour ladies. I call all my girls ladies for a reason. I love my ladies, but sometimes it's a reminder to let you know to be one, act like one, and make your momma proud she raised one.
If you're ass is broke, don't go out! Don't tell the bartender sorry, I can't afford to give you a tip, when you just spent $15 on a drink and can't pull out another dollar for a tip. Then, twenty minutes later come back looking for another one. Now, I don't see you! You are now invisible to me. Is this harsh? Yeah, probably but it's the truth. I am always here for you, as your new best friend at the bar. I look after my girls so they aren't drugged, taken advantage of, make sure you get home okay, I hold onto your purse when someone turns it in, and I may even introduce you to some cute guy. I am always in your corner.
